This is my main gallery and the reference that I have used here is the Bible for all serious Twitchers in this country and is called ‘Systematics And Taxonomy Of Australian Birds’ by Les Christidis And Walter E. Boles 2008 and I have used the order from pages 14-40 as for the supplementary list on pages 41 and 42 where I can I have tried to fit them in somewhere close to where they should be. Some of the photographs are of not great quality and I hope over time to replace them. Other references that I have used are ‘Graham Pizzey & Frank Knight The Field Guide to the Birds Of Australia Seventh Edition’ Edited by Peter Menkhorst. ‘ Photographic Field Guide Birds Of Australia Second Edition’ by Jim Flegg and ‘Albatrosses, Petrels & Shearwaters Of The World’ by Derek Onley And Paul Scofield
Birds of Costa Rica
This section is formatted by using the book ‘A guide to the Birds Of Costa Rica’ by F. Gary Stiles and Alexander F. Skutch and I have numbered the birds in the order of the book and the colour plates and the Subheadings at the start of each Plate.
Birds Of Fiji & Western Polynesia
The book that I have used as a reference for this region is ‘A Guide to the Birds of Fiji & Western Polynesia ’ by Dick Watling and is in order from pages 50 to 51 of this book. If anybody would like to buy a copy please contact me.
