Since I can remember I have had an affiliation with the Australian bush having lived on the outskirts of Melbourne and visiting my Aunties and Uncles who lived in the country. I was taught about how important our beautiful and varied Landscapes Flora and Fauna were to us and it never ceases to amaze me. Also by travelling extensively overseas it has made me realise just how lucky and fortunate we are to live in a land where we have so much freedom to be out there.

Sadly, in the future I do not think this will be the case what with mining, developers and overzealous bureaucrat's stopping us from entering some parts of our country we will lose some of our natural landscapes Flora and Fauna unless we make people aware of what we have, and in some ways through photography wildlife organisations (see Birds Australia and AWC sites on links page )and websites like this one hopefully will make a difference.

One of my goals is to try and photograph every bird in Australia, its waters and its territories and along the way I have so far photographed in Florida, Costa Rica, Fiji, New Zealand, Cook Islands and Papua New Guinea In my very limited photographic knowledge I would like to thank Jim Neiger (see links page) a well known and highly respected wildlife photographer from America who has photographic workshops that I have now attended twice and Greg Downing whom I attended one of his workshops in Costa Rica and to see the setup for Hummingbirds is truly amazing also many thanks to Jason Woolard and Kelly Medhurst both of whom put up with me to teach the basics of photography and Photoshop.

Any money raised from the sale of my photographs or products will be donated to Australian Wildlife Conservancy as I think that an organization that is buying up Cattle and Sheep Stations fencing and destocking and returning them back to there natural state and reintroducing native Flora and Fauna into those areas and doing an immense amount of research are going to give my children and grand children great pleasure and fulfillment for the future.
